General Meetings Second Thursday of Every Month

Topic: Adriana Assemany is a member of BBA and pastry chef with over 20 years of experience, specialized in honey from both Apis and stingless bees. Combining science and modern cuisine techniques, Adriana creates innovative textures and flavors in contemporary gastronomy. She holds a Level 1 Honey Sensory certification from the Italian National Registrar and is currently working toward becoming a certified honey judge with the American Honey Show Council.”

The presentation will be: “ The amazing native stingless bees from Brazil

Apiary Disaster Relief

Florida State Beekeepers Association has teamed up with Greater Good.org to raise funds for beekeepers in disaster areas.  Helene has destroyed areas that have never been impacted by storms before so many beekeepers were not prepared.  A $20,000 matching grant has been set up to encourage donations
