About the Park

A blossoming corner of Plantation Heritage

Plantation Heritage Park is a Broward County regional park wrapped around a scenic lake, with walking and biking paths, picnic areas, and a celebrated grove of rare tropical fruit trees — a natural fit for honey bees.

Open houses here are free and family-friendly. We open the hives, walk you through what beekeepers look for, and answer every question. Stay at a comfortable distance, or bring your own protective gear to get closer.
